Meet Artist, Maria Barry

Known for her vibrant watercolor paintings celebrating color, optimism, and everyday beauty, Orlando artist Maria Barry has spent decades creating artwork inspired by travel, people, and life’s simple moments. Entirely self-taught, she developed her distinctive style through years of experimentation and believes creativity can be nurtured through curiosity and practice.

Maria’s work can be found in permanent collections and installations throughout Florida, including Gatorland and Universal Studios Florida, where she regularly paints in public. Her commissioned artwork for hospitals in Florida and California helps create comforting, uplifting spaces for children and families. She continues shares her passion through weekly watercolor classes, workshops across Central Florida, and watercolor instruction aboard cruise ships, inspiring others to discover their own creative voice.
