Mary Beth Lesko, Colored Pencil Artist and Instructor,

has been creating art for over 34 years.  She has an Associate Degree in Commercial art and has been teaching colored pencil drawing for over 7 years.  She teaches drawing and colored pencil techniques to adults. She has taught at the Hazleton Art League, Wyoming Valley Art League and the Crestwood High School Continuing Education Program in PA.

She is the founder and past president of the Pennsylvania District Chapter of The Colored Pencil Society of America and  a member of the CPSA.

Museums, galleries and collectors are now supporting colored pencil artwork as a fine art medium.

Come and learn how to draw and create wonderful art with colored pencil.

You will learn the application, layering of color, color lifting, line impression and other ways to be creative with your colored pencil artwork.  We will also discuss matting & framing of artwork.   Contact Mary Beth Lesko at 570 594-4045 to register for her classes.

George Drummond is a Certified One Stroke Instructor teaching the easy painting method developed by Donna Dewberry.  George can teach you to paint, even if you think you can’t paint stick figures.  Learn brush loading techniques, basic strokes, blending, shading, and highlighting in one stroke and put that together to create a project in each class.   A 5-week series of classes (2 hours each Tuesday night) is beginning in October.  $130 non-members/$125 members.   Contact George at 352 383-4957 or 352 988-3191 with questions or to register for classes.   Or email gdrummond135@comcast.net

Kay Lenherr is a Certified Bob Ross Instructor who teaches Landscapes, Florals, Wildlife,  & Portraits in the wet-on-wet method.   Kay will be teaching one 4 hour class per month.   Classes are open to anyone over 12, beginners, advanced & especially to the artistically undiscovered.  No prior experience is necessary.   Her classes are the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1:00 – 5:00.   Class fee $60.  A supply list will be provided or you can pay a materials fee to teacher for paint and mediums.  Contact Kay at 407 645-1716 or kay@kaylenherr.com.   Some preparation may be necessary before class, so please register in advance.   Visit Kay’s website at www.kaylenherr.com
